Wesley Hoolahan (Norwich City)
Congratulations to Wesley Hoolahan and Norwich City for finishing 2nd in The Npower Football League Championship. The Canaries have secured the second automatic promotion spot available to the Premier League for the 2011/2012 season. Wes had an excellent season and was rewarded by been chosen in Championships PFA side for the 2010/2011 season.
Stephen Kelly (Fulham FC)
DEFENDER Stephen joined Spurs from Belvedere and eventually ended up with Fulham where he is presently a first-team regular. Stephen has been capped 20 times at full senior level for Ireland and recently became the first Belvo player to captain Ireland in a senior international when he wore the arm-band against Uruguay. Stephen is from Finglas
Richie Foran (Inverness Caledonian Thistle)
RICHIE the lionhearted won the FAI Youths Cup winners’ medal with
Belvedere before going on to play for Shelbourne in the League of
Ireland. He was transferred to Carlisle in 2001 and played for a number
of clubs in England and Scotland before joining Inverness in the SPL,
where he is the club captain. A regular goal-scoring striker, he played a number of times for Ireland’s U21 team. Richie is from the North Wall area of Dublin’s Inner City.
Mark Kennedy (Ipswich Town)
BELVEDERE’S veteran professional at 35, Mark has been in England for almost 20 years, playing with Millwall, Liverpool, Cardiff and others before joining Ipswich Town, where he is a regular first team player. He has been capped 34 times at full senior level for Ireland. Mark is from Blanchardstown in Dublin. Started life as a goalkeeper.
