What a fantastic weekend for Belvedere and out ex players too.

‪Congratulations to former Belvo girl Rebecca Cooke, granddaughter of our club treasurer Martin, on making her Ireland U17 debut on Saturday is a 1-0 loss to Czech Republic.

Rebecca plays for Shelbourne ladies having spent some time with Belvo in her youth, playing as a goalkeeper above!

Ireland face the same opposition again today (Monday) in Waterford.

We'll have a special feature on Rebecca during the week.

Huge congrats also to ex Belvo boy Neil Farrugia on winning the SSE Airtricity League 1st Division title with UCD AFC on Friday night.

The Students drew 1-1 with Finn Harps which was enough to clinch the title with a game to spare.

Winger Neil has been in excellent form in recent weeks and they have an FAI Cup semi-final against Dundalk in 2 weeks as well.
